Who We are

Linkes Local Arts is a independent Art Facility family located in the downtown core of Stayner, Ontario Canada. Opened in 2010 mainly as a art gallery, displaying and promoting local artists from Clearview Township as well as nearby communities. As the business grew owner/ artist Frieda Linke added a small art supplies section, which quickly expended as the demand for supplies increased. In 2016 Linkes Local Arts grew beyond the small storefront in which it first started, moving to a two story space down the street. Our gallery space was now 3 times the size, allowing room for many other artists from outside our area, even ones out of Province. The art supplies section now became a department separate from the gallery, allowing room for a wider variety of art materials. The second floor houses Frieda’s private office and art studio, plus a showcase room that doubles as a workshop and classroom. Frieda’s late husband Harry started up our framing department, producing his own unique framing system. Framing is now continued by Harry’s Grandson Willian Wager.

Here are just some of what we are all about and what you can discover while visiting Linke Local Arts.
